Salvinia minima aka Water Spangles is a very easy to care for plant that can thrive in many conditions. They don't need much light because they float at the water's surface but will happily handle high light situations and prefer gentle water flow. As with most surface floating plants they absorb their nutrients from the water column which can greatly help with water quality.

Floating plants are a beautiful addition to any aquarium and a fantastic for any shrimp tank or aquarium with fry. The shrimp graze on micro organisms and fry can use it for shelter
